Glacier Walk - Horstman Glacier
This is a great opportunity to experience walking on snow and ice with crampons. We access Blackcomb Mountain with 4X4 trucks, up the windy service road to the top. Instructions are given to participants before spending time exploring the different features of the glacier. Summer season 2017 starting July 17th. - reservation is required.

Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging. good fitness level

Details: Groups of 7 guest per guides. The average temperature in the summer on the glacier is 12C/55F. You will need: sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and dress for the outdoors.

Includes: rain gear, mountaineering boots, harness, helmet, ice axe, daypack, energy bar, water and mountain access.

Glacier Hike - Blackcomb Glacier
The combination of last winter’s record snow fall and this unusually cool and wet spring has created ideal conditions for the glaciers to survive and possibly grow. Come and find out interesting facts about glaciers and experience an exciting opportunity to hike with crampons and learn a few mountain skills. The Horstman and Blackcomb Glaciers are only accessible by 4X4 trucks or Ski Lifts. Summer 2017 season starting June 10th - reservation is required.
