Blackcomb Ice Cave Tours
The perfect whistler activity for adventurous souls willing to challenge themshelves and explore the Blackcomb Glacier hiden valley. 4×4 Transportation is provided to this remote location high on Blackcomb mountain. A 6km hike with 400m of elevation is required to access this stuning ice cave. A couple of hours is spent exploring the ice cave and surroundings, before returning to Whistler Village. A true Whistler Adventure!
Difficulty: Challenging, rough open alpine terrain, boulder field, creek crossing, morraine, unsecure footing
Duration: 6-8 hours
Lenght: 12km
Ratio: Groups of 4 guest max

Start: 830am
Finish: 4pm

What to bring?
- Fast drying Hiking pants or shorts
- Wind or rain jacket
- Extra warm sweater or puff jacket
- Good hiking boots
- Lunch, Water and snacks
- Gloves and beanie
Optional:
- Waterproof camera or GoPro
- Gratuity for the guide
Note: Time at the ice cave varies on average from 1 to 2hours. The risks involved are typical of mountain climbing and traveling on rough alpine terrain, and on glaciers, combined with those of an inhospitable and dangerous climate (crevasses, ice caves, rock fall hazard, hypothermia, falling from a height, slipping, loss of balance, etc…)
