Heli Base Camp 3 days/2 nights
Heli base camp touring is the ultimate way to explore the Coast Mountains in winter! Tour through breathtaking scenery and ski or ride world class terrain all day long! Get up early to watch the sunrise with breakfast then head our way up the mountain. With no light pollution, Heli base touring is the perfect way to view the BC night sky and if you’re lucky the Northern Lights! The base camp is located in a remote and secret location, so we don’t want to attract visitors. You will be treated to gourmet backcountry cuisine in a cozy communal Emperor Tent with fire place to share your stories and dry your gear. We prepare food with camping stoves and bbq equipment and love to share memories. Guest will enjoy a quite night in private tents with warm duvet sleeping bags. We call this “Winter Glamping”.

Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: Ability to link turns on black runs in variable snow conditions. Good fitness level.
Itinerary
Departure: 8am from the Pemberton airport
Gear
All winter camping equipment is provided, including sleeping bags. Guest will be required to bring their own winter clothes, avalanche rescue and personal ski touring or splitboarding gear.
